The Courses

The Lakeside Course
The original course at The Golf Club of Georgia was built in 1991 and was named "Best New Private Course" in the United States. The course features rolling terrain and undulating greens amidst scenic woodlands. The most picturesque portion of the course are holes 11 through 14 as they play alongside majestic Lake Windward, offering views rarely seen at private golf clubs in North Atlanta.

The Creekside Course

Opened in 1993, the Creekside Course is artfully carved through the wetlands along Big Creek and boasts mounded fairways and elevated greens in what can be described as a Lowcountry feel. Recent improvements include a complete bunker restoration, unique water features on holes 8, 11, 14, 15 and 16, multiple new teeing areas to benefit players of all skill levels, overall beautification, and new cart path areas.

For most CGA instruction sessions, the Short Game practice facility at Horseshoe Bend CC serves as the ultimate training ground. Located on the lower end of the practice facilities, this area boasts two putting greens, three bunkers, and various chipping areas from 75 yards and in. The dedicated teaching tee, in addition to these short game facilities, offer the ideal space for private and group lessons tailored to your individual needs whether you're perfecting your bunker shots, mastering your chip-and-run techniques, or working on your irons.

The Course

Horseshoe Bend Country Club

Originally designed by Joe Lee in 1974 and redesigned by Bob Cupp in 2011, the 18-hole golf course at Horseshoe Bend CC offers a breathtaking blend of natural beauty and championship-caliber challenges. With four holes along the historic Chattahoochee River and over 2 miles of scenic river frontage, the course has been thoughtfully enhanced with lakes, streams, and dramatic water features. Lush hardwoods line the rolling hills and fairways, creating a picturesque backdrop for your golfing experience.

The recent redesign features Champion bermudagrass greens, TifGrand approaches, zoysia tees, bunkers, cart paths, and a state-of-the-art irrigation system. With the addition of a fifth set of zoysia tees, the course now plays 7,100 yards from the tips, offering a challenge for golfers of all skill levels.
